Before You Buy

Do I need a CAM (Controller Adapter Module)?+

No. The GEN 8 works with all factory and aftermarket brake controllers without any adapter. This is the only EOH actuator on the market with universal compatibility.

Is the buzzing noise normal?+

Yes. That’s the pump building and holding pressure. Completely normal.

How do I bleed the system?+

Start at the furthest caliper. Open the bleeder, pump DOT 3 through until no air bubbles. Work toward the actuator. Two full passes.

What fluid does it use?+

DOT 3 or DOT 4. Do not use DOT 5 — silicone fluid will damage the seals.
