10K-16K Conversion Kits

Upgrade your heavy-duty trailer with a Hydrastar electric over hydraulic conversion kit rated for 10,000 to 16,000 lb axles. Built for the most demanding applications including gooseneck trailers, dual wheel configurations, large equipment haulers, and commercial fleet trailers.

Available in both disc brake and hydraulic drum brake configurations, each kit includes the 1,600 PSI Hydrastar EOH actuator, axle-rated rotors and calipers (or drum components), reinforced hydraulic brake lines, brake flange mounting hardware, breakaway switch and battery, wiring harness, and prewired 7-Way RV cord with junction box.

Hydrastar's heavy-duty conversion kits are compatible with Dexter Axle and Lippert Components systems, and are available in tandem and triple axle configurations. Dual-wheel variants are specifically designed for higher-capacity dually trailer applications.

The hydraulic brake lines are triple annealed and eddy-current tested with walls 40% thicker than standard, ensuring reliable performance under the high pressures generated by heavy braking. All components meet CFR-393 federal braking requirements and SAE J1650 standards.
