7K Conversion Kits
Upgrade your 7,000 lb axle trailer with a complete Hydrastar electric over hydraulic conversion kit. Available in both disc brake and drum brake configurations, our 7K kits are engineered for heavy-duty trailers used in equipment hauling, large cargo transport, RV towing, and commercial applications.
Each 7K conversion kit includes the 1,600 PSI Hydrastar EOH actuator, 7K axle-rated Dacromet-coated rotors and calipers (or hydraulic drum components), reinforced brake line kit, brake flange mounting hardware, breakaway switch and battery, wiring harness, and prewired 7-Way RV junction box with all wiring.
Hydrastar's 7K disc kits are available in tandem axle and triple axle configurations with both integral and slip-over hub options. Plug & Play variants are pre-wired for easier installation on newer trailers.
The aluminum-housed EOH actuator features 12 V DC operation with solid-state electronics and color-coded wiring. All Hydrastar conversion kits are made in the USA, comply with CFR-393 federal braking requirements, and meet all DOT regulations.
